According to a research report released by consultancy NTT DATA UK&I,73%of new PV systems in the UK in 2022 will come from rooftop PV systems installed at homes. According to the company, this means that the installed capacity of rooftop PV systems in the UK is growing at the fastest rate since 2016. While this is considered a boon for the development of the UK photovoltaic industry, it does present some complex issues.
