The world’s largest single “Salt-PV complementary” project – Huadian Tianjin Haijing 1 million KW “Salt-PV complementary” photovoltaic project recently officially connected to the grid.
“Salt-PV complementary” is the combination of salt and photovoltaic power generation, under the premise of ensuring the production performance of the basic salt industry, the installation of photovoltaic modules at a certain height on the salt pan, to achieve the effective operation of water power generation, water salt, underwater aquaculture of a new three-dimensional efficient production mode, to achieve three uses, greatly improving the output value per unit area.
Huadian Tianjin Haijing 1 million kilowatt “Salt-PV complementary” photovoltaic project, located in Tianjin Binhai New Area of Changlu salt farm, covers an area of 20,000 mu, equivalent to 1,868 football fields, can provide 1.5 billion KWH of clean electricity every year, equivalent emission reduction of about 1.25 million tons of carbon dioxide, can meet the power consumption of 1.5 million households for 1 year.
The photovoltaic Solar Bracket System sheet piles of the project are spaced 14 meters from front to back, 15meters meters from the shore. The PV Mounting Brackets is with the tilt Angle of 17 degrees. The project calculates the latitude of Changlu Hajing salt field and the solar incidence Angle and other parameters, so as to set the best height and Angle of Solar Panel Bracket U Profile, so as to achieve the effect of efficient light energy conversion and water salt. At the same time, double-sided photovoltaic panels are used, which absorb direct sunlight while the back can also absorb sunlight reflected by the water surface, and the power generation efficiency can be increased by 5% to 7%. Under the premise of ensuring that “the nature of the land is unchanged, the income of the salt field is not reduced, and the ecological environment is unchanged”, an eco-friendly system of “green energy + characteristic salt industry” is built to realize the integrated and comprehensive application of “salt, light and fish”.
