Recently, China Power Construction Group Co., LTD. (referred to as “Power China”) and South Africa’s African Solar Energy Company officially signed the EPC contract of the Dea Center photovoltaic power station in South Africa.
It is reported that the project is located in Dea town, Northern Cape Province, South Africa, with a total installed capacity of 342MW, which is the largest single photovoltaic power plant project(include Solar Panel Mount) in South Africa. After the completion of the project, it will provide stable and reliable clean electricity for large data centers and other businesses in South Africa, and effectively promote the green transformation of South Africa’s energy structure.
This signing not only further consolidated PowerChina’s leading position in South Africa’s new energy project contracting market, but also an important achievement of PowerChina’s in-depth implementation of the “Belt and Road” Initiative and the spirit of the FOCAC Beijing Summit.
